Getting started

Using a bookmarklet

The most basic way to get CucuMe working for you is to install a "bookmarklet". That's a tiny bit of program code which looks like a conventional bookmark but runs when you click it.

After you've installed the CucuMe bookmarklet, you can continue browsing as normal. Anytime you'd like to know what CucuMe knows about a webpage you're looking at, just click on the "Cucu This" bookmark, and the list will appear on the left!

This approach isn't perfect: some webpages don't like to be displayed inside frames, and you may need to set up your browser to allow frames to work. But it is the quickest and easiest way to experience for yourself what CucuMe can do.
